  4. Is there an estate agent involved? If so, please provide details
  5. Is the property leasehold / freehold?
  6. What is the selling / purchase price? Is this agreed?
  7. What price is being paid for the fixtures, fittings and contents?
  8. When do you anticipate completion?
  9. Are you selling any property in addition to the purchase above?
  10. Will you be paying a 5% or 10% deposit at exchange of contracts?
  11. Do you intend to finance the purchase from private funds or with a mortgage?
  12. Has a survey been carried out?
  13. Has insurance been taken out on the property?
  14. If the property being purchased is owned jointly, will it be held as joint tenants or tenants in common?
  15. Are there any tenants living at the property at present? Will they require notice to leave the premises?
  16. Are there managing agents who look after the property?
  17. How many years are left of the lease?
  18. Are you intending to sub-let the property or to live there yourself?

  20. Is there an outstanding mortgage on the property? Will the sale of the property be sufficient to redeem the mortgage in full?
